Caterpillar is seeking a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer for our Platform Services team within Caterpillar IT. In this role, the incumbent will work alongside architects and business partners to execute a build-out of GCP, with specific focus on security, privacy, and compliance activities. You will work daily with Technology and Software Platform teams to provide solutions using GCP. You will need to stay current with GCP technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

What You Will Do:
- Providing consulting on best practices for Google Cloud Platform.
- Deploying or integrating cloud technologies based on requirements gathered from customers.
- Assisting customers with documentation, training, and usability efforts.
- Serve as an Enterprise Administrator for Caterpillar’s GCP environment.
- Monitor and ensure the GCP environment at Caterpillar are secure and compliant.
- Automate resource provisioning in GCP using Terraform.
- Stay current with GCP technologies, and best practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
