You will be the tech lead for the work-stream responsible for Continuous Deployments (CD), which is used by Plaid’s application engineering teams to deploy new changes to production every day.

Our goal is to make all Plaid engineers more productive via components we own within Plaid’s Internal Developer Platform: CI/CD, Build Tools, Self-serve Deployments, Container Registry, Developer Portal, Service Catalog, and Feature Flagging.

You will:

- Discover, prioritize, and execute projects to improve the reliability of Plaid’s product offerings by extending the coverage of testing and canarying mechanisms we currently have in CD.

- Up-level the technical rigor of other engineers on the team, and conduct thoughtful code reviews.

- Own SLO definition, goal-setting, and OKR planning.

- Improve the capabilities of our internal developer platform.

- Lead with operational maturity, and an SRE-like focus on reliability and automation.

- Dive into any part of the entire Plaid codebase to inform technical decision making across teams, and with engineering leadership.
