Senior Platform Engineer

‍We're looking for an ambitious Senior Platform Engineer to design and build core infrastructure that sets the company on a trajectory to scale to hundreds of developers and customers. The infrastructure you build will increase the leverage our growing network of developers can apply against delivering software products fast.

‍You will:

-Build developer tooling and infrastructure that makes the average engineer in Create's network more productive per unit time spend than engineers inside much larger, iconic, eng-led companies
-Design key systems and infrastructure that allow us to manage a fleet of 100s of heterogeneous production customer apps
-Engineer around our innovations in AI code generation to make them simple for developers to apply to common production eng tasks
-Establish golden paths for modern developer operations (e.g. IaC, env management, feature flags, data migrations, etc.) and launch tools that smooth all stages of the dev life cycle (task management, feature development, PR reviews, delivery)

You have:

-4+ years of production experience on a platform or infrastructure team
-Expertise in at least 1 of the following programming languages: Python, Go, Typescript
-Experience with automating infrastructure and cloud services using Infrastructure as a Code tools like Terraform
-Experience with container provisioning (Docker, Kubernetes)
-Strong experience writing code and building systems that automate or speed up the entire development and production application lifecycle (task management, dev setups, secret management, feature development, testing, PR review, feature flags, release and deployment, security, monitoring, etc.)

Nice to Have:

-Strong experience with Typescript and modern web app ecosystem (React, GraphQL, Node, etc.)
-Experience writing developer CLIs
-Experience with Github Bots
-Strong Experience with Terraform
-Strong Experience with AWS
