Role Responsibilities:
- Manages an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) platform in Azure using services including Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks
- Enables and configures connections between data sources to ingest into the EDW
- Manages the analytics platform in Azure using services including Power BI and Azure Logic Apps
- Supports security for the data platform including SSO and access controls
- Leads the design and deployment of future Azure services or enhanacements on the existing Azure services
- Establishes Azure governance frameworks, including cost management, compliance, security policies, and monitoring standards
- Continuously evaluates and improves the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of Azure platforms
- Designs Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Collaborates with Data Engineers and Data Architects to implement and execute stored procedures
