Our growing company is searching for a Cloud Engineer to develop and maintain our cloud infrastructure. The Cloud Engineer will work on a team that has a significant impact on helping our customers improve their financial lives. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and product peers to build, optimize, and secure our cloud-based systems. You will focus on SRE, DevOps, and cloud-focused software engineering projects. You will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing cloud-based production systems to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of our platform.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering (SRE) roles
- Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch
- Understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and firewall configurations
- Ability to automate routine tasks and improve system reliability
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and network issues
- You have successfully mentored other engineers
- You are comfortable working in a distributed team
- You communicate well both synchronously and asynchronously
