Vanguard is seeking an Intermediate level Platform Engineer to join our Collaboration Platforms team in IT (Corporate Systems) to support the SaaS platforms and desktop applications used enterprise-wide at Vanguard. This role is crucial for enhancing the client experience and ensuring our Collaboration Platform solutions are reliable, secure, and integrated with other systems as necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure secure and efficient use of our platforms.
- Quickly and effectively respond to and resolve technical incidents to minimize downtime and maintain service reliability.
- Triage and manage tickets with vendors, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
- Work with vendors to manage and implement new feature requests, enhancing the functionality and user experience of our platforms.
- Provide technical assistance and support to end users, addressing their questions and helping them navigate our supported platforms.
- Package and deploy software updates and upgrades as needed.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate our platforms with other systems as necessary.
- Manage and remediate vulnerabilities to ensure compliance with Vanguard policies and SLAs.
- Maintain and organize documentation for our platforms and applications, including runbooks, procedures, and user-facing guides.
- Stay informed about latest technologies and conduct research to identify potential new solutions and/or alternatives.
- Ensure all processes and technologies meet our high standards for application security, including robust user authentication (SSO).
