We are searching for a highly skilled and seasoned AWS Cloud Technical Delivery Manager to join our team. As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will take charge of overseeing the design, implementation, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure while also leading a team of engineers. Your role will involve close collaboration with engineering, operations, and DevOps teams to drive AWS infrastructure automation, ensure scalability, and optimize performance.
The ideal candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of AWS services, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in successfully delivering intricate cloud projects. Your primary focus will be working closely with the operations and DevOps teams to build, manage, and automate our customers' AWS Infrastructure using Terraform, developing software components as containerized applications using Python/Java, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design, implementation, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
2. Oversee the development and execution of cloud automation strategies using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
3. Architect and optimize highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud environments.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
6. Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate recurring tasks and enable efficient software deployment.
7. Conduct comprehensive testing, performance monitoring, and capacity planning for cloud infrastructure components.
8. Ensure compliance with security best practices and implement appropriate measures to protect data and infrastructure.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
10. Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, best practices, and industry trends.
11. Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and tools to improve cloud infrastructure and operations.
Must-Have Skills:
1. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure (L3 Skills) (AWS, Linux, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
2. In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
3. Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
4. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and infrastructure tasks.
5. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
6. A deep understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, routing, and security groups.
7. Extensive experience with implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
8. Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in AWS environments.
9. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
10. Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and drive projects to completion.
11. Strong project management abilities and the capability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality results.
12. Experience working in AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud technologies.
13. Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/EKS).
14. Design, test, and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Bitbucket/GitHub, Jenkins.
15. Experience working with different services like EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda in AWS.
16. Experience in creating Infrastructure in AWS using Terraform/CloudFormation.
17. Strong Terraform skills for deploying infrastructure as code.
