This job is about being a Platform Engineer specializing in Observability in the company that does provide a platform for the hospitality industry; you will do design, build, and maintain observability solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of the company's systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions for the platform - Collaborate with development teams to integrate observability into their services - Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitoring systems - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to system performance - Implement logging, metrics, and tracing solutions - Automate observability processes and workflows - Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems - Continuously improve observability practices and tools Requirements: - Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes - Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java - Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code - Knowledge of SRE practices and principles - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
