Senior Platform Engineer (Domain Operations)
This job is about being a Senior Platform Engineer in the Domain Operations team at Ebury, a company that does fintech services specializing in international payments, foreign exchange, and trade finance solutions; you will do platform engineering work to support the Domain Operations team, focusing on building and maintaining infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters
- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
- Automate operational tasks and processes
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and performance
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Document systems, processes, and procedures
Requirements:
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab CI
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python)
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
- Experience with database systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Good communication and collaboration skills
