Mark Dastmalchi-Round is an Advisory Solutions Architect at Nutanix, specialising in cloud-native platforms. Over his career, he has worked on both sides of the sales fence, as well as in roles spanning development, infrastructure and leadership. He has led platform teams and customer engagements from the FTSE 100 world of banking and commerce to public sector and defence. Over the last decade, he has been immersed in the cloud-native world and has designed, sold and managed Kubernetes and other PaaS environments across private and public clouds, using the latest CNCF technologies driven by a "platform as a product" approach. He has worked across all areas of the platform stack, from low-level network and storage design to performance tuning and application delivery. As a keen technology enthusiast, he has been coding since his first computer and has been involved in open-source and community projects throughout.
