Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software components related to Kubernetes (K8s) cluster management within the Taikun platform.

• Develop and maintain integrations with Longhorn for distributed block storage within Kubernetes environments.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s), including cluster administration and lifecycle management.

Your Mission

You ensure that meshStack is seamlessly integrated into existing enterprise architectures — performant, secure, and scalable.

Design and implement integrations between meshStack and enterprise systems such as IAM, ITSM, SIEM, or governance tools

Develop customer-specific extensions as well as reusable building blocks

Apply Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform / OpenTofu) to implement production-critical setups in cloud environments

Structure integration projects and take end-to-end responsibility for scope, implementation, and quality

Collaborate closely with customer platform teams and cloud architects

Ensure maintainability, documentation, and scalability of integrations

Abstract customer-specific solutions into reusable patterns

Develop best practices for integrations and provide structured feedback to the product team

Create structured annual and project plans together with customers

Must Haves

Several years of experience in platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering, with direct customer contact or advisory responsibilities

Extensive hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform / OpenTofu)

Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes

Experience integrating enterprise systems (IAM, ITSM, governance tools, etc.)

Proven ability to independently execute technical projects with clear ownership

Native-level German (C2) and fluent English (C1)

BS/MS in Computer Science or related field; GCP or AWS certifications preferred.

Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g.,VMware/OpenStack) and enterprise storage (e.g., NetApp). Hands-on experience with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD, GitLab CD, ACM, Tekton, etc.

Proven experience automating infrastructure via code.

5+ years of hands-on software engineering, SRE, or cloud operations experience focusing on cloud and container platforms.

Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Knowledge of Go is a strong plus. Expert-level experience with Ansible and Terraform.

Demonstrated ability to design and implement DevOps toolchains in large, complex organizations.

Experience running Kubernetes across multiple flavors:kubeadm, GKE, EKS, BOSH CFCR, Cluster-api and other enterprise distributions.

Experience with Anthos / Tanzu is appreciated.

Strong background working with Linux environments.
