The stage is set for the world’s largest platform engineering conference. We are thrilled to announce that the Call for Proposals (CfP) for PlatformCon 2026 is officially open!
PlatformCon 2026 will take place from June 22nd to June 26th, featuring a full week of curated talks, hands-on workshops, and Live Days in London and New York. This is your chance to share your expertise with a global audience of platform engineers and tech leaders.
What we’re looking for
This CfP is exclusively for the PlatformCon virtual program, which includes two distinct formats:
- Pre-recorded talks (15 mins): Practical, experience-based stories. We want to hear honest lessons learned, architectural insights, and "war stories" from the trenches of enterprise platform engineering.
- Live workshops (Up to 2 hours): Hands-on sessions led by practitioners. These should dive deep into platform tooling and specific combinations of technologies used in real-world scenarios.
The themes
Your submission should fall into one of three core themes:
- The platform stack: The technical foundation (Kubernetes, IaC, GitOps, Security etc.)
- Platform engineering in practice: Treating the platform as a product, stakeholder buy-in, and cultural transformation.
- The enabled enterprise: The impact of platform engineering on AI adoption, innovation, and organizational resilience.
How to get accepted
Competition is high, so here are a few tips to make your proposal stand out:
- No product pitches: We strictly do not accept vendor pitches. Focus on value, not sales.
- Be specific: Your abstract should not be a first draft. Clearly outline key takeaways and what the audience will learn.
- Third-person abstract: Ensure your abstract is written in the third person (e.g., "In this talk, Jane Doe discusses...").
- Check your length: Keep titles under 90 characters and abstracts under 800 characters.
Note: This CfP applies only to the virtual program. Speakers for in-person sessions at Live Days in London and New York are invite-only.
